Imagine you had enough training, skills, and knowledge to take out the Batman shooter or the guy who shot up the Sikh temple. Its ridiculous to think that in both areas, lives could have been saved if the criminal wasn’t the only guy with a gun.
Seriously, I want you to look at this page and look at all the lives that could have been saved by having a concealed carry permit and enough training to use a firearm effectively.
Criminals don’t like to tangle with people who are armed.
Criminals are cowards! They are much likely to attack someone they believe might have a firearm on them. The individual who carries a concealed firearm receives the benefits as well as the general public – the more armed the community is, the more likely a criminal will be deterred.

- Carrying a concealed weapon could have prevented 60,000 aggravated assaults
- Carrying a concealed weapon could have prevented 12,000 robberies
You have a right to keep and bear arms. Period.
A lot of brave men and women have died to protect the Constitution of the United States of America. The Second Amendment states, “A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.” Carry your concealed weapon with pride. (Now if we could only get Florida to allow open carry…)

The National Crime Victimization Survey posted, “”robbery and assault victims who used a gun to resist were less likely to be attacked or to suffer an injury than those who used any other methods of self-protection or those who did not resist at all.”

We’re a Dutch couple with a home in Inverness, Citrus County. Can we join one of your 3 hour concealed weapon permit classes? We have absolutely no experience.
We don’t expect to get a licence to carry a weapon, since we are ‘non-resident aliens’, but we would like to learn how to handle a gun and how to shoot properly.
Are there classes between Febr. 10 – 16?

I ‘d let my concealed carry permit lapse while I was living out of state. Had to start from scratch to get a new one…which meant I had to take the 3 hour class and demonstrate proficiency again. I asked several of my friends if they could recommend a place to take the class. They all said Florida Gun Supply. So, I signed up, took the class and now I’m carrying again. Thanks Andrew. It was a good refresher AND I even learned a few new things.
I love that you said that people with concealed carry permits benefit the general public because criminals are less likely to attack if they think someone is armed. I want to be a good citizen of the community we just moved to, so I’ll talk to my husband about going to a concealed carry class. I’m pregnant, too, and it would also be good to protect the baby we are having in just 5 months.
